A brief history
Blue Sky PR was founded in 2006 by Richard Hamer who has previously worked for Britain’s largest independent PR agency, as well as the North’s No 1 full service marketing agency.
He was a journalist for eight years, four of them with the Press Association’s sister company Ananova.com (now owned by Orange), where he was a night editor for almost three years before moving into public relations.
We began life in Otley, a few miles to the north of Leeds, without any clients or external funding but lots of determination and energy. Through sheer hard work we’ve now built up a portfolio taking in a wide range of business sectors, and we are always keen to speak to potential new clients whatever their product or service is.
